The CEA Barcelona Center’s diverse curriculum allows you to choose the courses that best meet your interests. Liberal arts and social science electives are taught in English or Spanish for all levels of language ability.
CEA Barcelona Center, CETT – University of Barcelona
Take a deep dive into Tourism and Hospitality topics in a city considered one of the world’s leading tourism and cultural centers. Choose Tourism Studies and Hospitality Management courses at our partner institution, CETT-University of Barcelona (CETT-UB), and round out your experience with electives and core courses in the Liberal Arts and Social Sciences at the CEA Barcelona Center. Add a professional internship with a tourism or hospitality-focused placement. CEA courses are taught in English, but Spanish language courses are available for every level of ability. CETT-UB courses are taught in English, and CEA students share their classroom with local students.

This versatile program allows you to choose from a range of business electives at either Universitat Autònoma de Barcelona (UAB) or Pompeu Fabra University (UPF). Complete your experience with CEA Barcelona Center electives that take full advantage of the Center's location in the heart of the city and allow you to delve into Spanish culture, history, and society. Classes are taught in English and Spanish for all levels of Spanish language ability. You may also enroll in the optional Global Career Development Seminar, an ideal way to focus on future career success.
Designed for students at the high-beginning and above Spanish level, this program allows you to engage with local culture and attend class with local and other international students. Choose electives that pique your interest while you improve your Spanish skills in an intensive language course.
Travel to London, England and Barcleona, Spain! Embrace European sport culture in the Sports & Society traveling program! This program will explore fundamental concepts of the international sports industry as they relate to global business. You will have the opportunity to meet with business strategists and leaders in the sport management field to enhance your learning. Course content will be delivered through multiple site visits, guest lectures, and in-class meetings. Want to study law, international relations, or political science in an international setting? This honors program curriculum focuses on law’s global dimensions (international, European, comparative, and private), offered in one of Spain’s top-tier law schools. Available in Spring Semester.
Designed for all levels of Spanish language ability, the Communication & Journalism program allows you to choose from a range of courses, taught in your choice of English or Spanish, as you delve into topics like the role of social media, photojournalism, and Spanish media.
