WHAT WAS YOUR FAVORITE CLASS WHILE ABROAD, AND WHY?
My favorite class I took while studying abroad was my Principles of Marketing class. I enjoyed this class because not only did I learn a lot, but my teacher was really engaging and put the course load into perspective while also getting to know each of us individually. He would always give us fun advice on things to do in Spain and Europe as a whole, and related a lot of the content to be applicable not only in the United States but also internationally, connecting some concepts to Spain itself.

HOW DID YOU ENGAGE WITH THE LOCAL COMMUNITY WHILE ABROAD?
I engaged with the local community while abroad mainly by trying new restaurants. One thing about me is that I’m a huge foodie. I love trying new foods and experiencing the atmosphere of different restaurants. For me, this was not only something fun to do but also really beneficial in immersing myself in the local community. My roommates and I found a coffee shop/café that we went to every morning, and we actually ended up becoming friends with the baristas who worked there. We even got their numbers and stayed in touch!
