HOW DID YOU ENGAGE WITH THE LOCAL COMMUNITY WHILE ABROAD?
I made an effort to immerse myself in Barcelona’s local culture by exploring neighborhoods beyond the typical tourist areas and supporting family-run cafés and shops. I also practiced my Spanish daily, which helped me connect more naturally with locals and understand the rhythm of everyday life. Through CEA, I joined a few cultural activities, like cooking classes and historical tours, that introduced me to parts of the city I might not have found on my own. Overall, these experiences helped me feel less like a visitor and more like a resident.

WHAT WAS YOUR FAVORITE CLASS WHILE ABROAD, AND WHY?
My favorite class was Abnormal Psychology, taught by a professor from London who was also a practicing therapist. She brought in real clinical examples, which made the material feel incredibly relevant and human. Her teaching style was open and discussion-based, so our classroom felt like a space where we could ask meaningful questions and connect theory to real experiences. It was the course that challenged me the most intellectually and shaped a deeper interest in mental health.
