HOW DID YOU ENGAGE WITH THE LOCAL COMMUNITY WHILE ABROAD?
I befriended local store owners and tried to talk to as many people as possible. My roommates and I lived in an apartment complex as the only students so we tried to get to know as many of the residents as possible.
WHAT WAS YOUR FAVORITE CLASS WHILE ABROAD, AND WHY?
Global incompetence and communication. This was my favorite class because it correlated with my life abroad greatly. It taught me the importance of eliminating stereotypes, intercultural communication, and how to immerse myself in a new culture.
