WHAT WAS YOUR FAVORITE CLASS WHILE ABROAD, AND WHY?

My favorite class I took was either my volunteering experience (which was paired with a class about European politics) or the Analyzing and Exploring the Global City class. In this course, we were able to learn the history of Barcelona in many different ways. Oftentimes, we went on walking tours during our class period, so it was very engaging and enjoyable to learn that way rather than behind a desk.
HOW
DID YOU ENGAGE WITH THE LOCAL COMMUNITY WHILE ABROAD?
While abroad, I participated in a volunteering experience at a local elementary school. This experience was pivotal in my time abroad as I was able to make deeper connections with the Catalan community, and get to know it on a more local level. Experiencing not only what a school is like, but how the children behave and interact with one another is something I would not have experienced any other way.
