HOW DID YOU ENGAGE WITH THE LOCAL COMMUNITY WHILE ABROAD?
The best experience I had abroad was living with a host family. My host mom (Lupe) and I still stay in close contact and I even plan on visiting her again after I graduate. She only speaks Spanish so this really pushed me to learn Spanish and I loved that experience.
WHAT WAS YOUR FAVORITE CLASS WHILE ABROAD, AND WHY?
My favorite class abroad was Cine Español as I am a screenwriting minor and this class helped me to expand my cinema knowledge and learn how different cultures shape the film industry. The professor of this class was also so helpful and genuinely loved what she taught. She also made the class fun and made us comfortable talking about film, even if we weren't experts in it.
