HOW DID YOU ENGAGE WITH THE LOCAL COMMUNITY WHILE ABROAD?
I engaged with the Barcelona community in numerous amount of ways, from experiencing local restaurants to sightseeing at different churches and monuments, studying abroad in Spain taught me so much about Spanish culture. Being a foodie, exploring the local restaurants and cuisines was one of my favorite hobbies, whether I found them while talking to my teachers or other locals, I was always on the hunt for the best restaurants. Speaking to the very inviting locals was another way I engaged in the community, and while either waiting for me to speak broken Spanish, or most of the time accommodating me and speaking English, this was a great way to find new activities to do around the city that I otherwise would've never known about.

WHAT WAS YOUR FAVORITE CLASS WHILE ABROAD, AND WHY?
My favorite class while abroad was my Entrepreneurship course, I loved this course because it was very hands-on and interactive. I also loved my teacher who was a Barcelona native and always came into the room with so much energy wanting to teach us about various businesses in her country and all around the world. She would also bring in guest speakers from companies around Barcelona so we could get first-hand knowledge of the entrepreneurship culture and startups in Barcelona.
