HOW DID YOU ENGAGE WITH THE LOCAL COMMUNITY WHILE ABROAD?
While abroad, I often interacted with the local community both during school organized field trips and on my own independent walks around the city. These experiences allowed me to engage with local customs and connect with people in authentic ways. Whether it was stopping at a market, visiting a historic site, or chatting with locals at a café, I tried to always interact with the locals!
WHAT WAS YOUR FAVORITE CLASS WHILE ABROAD, AND WHY?
My favorite class while abroad was Analyzing and Exploring the City. The professor was fantastic, and I loved that we got to step outside the classroom and explore parts of the city I had never known. I really enjoyed learning about the history and culture during our walks, and this class helped me discover some of my favorite spots in the city.
