AIX-EN-PROVENCE, FRANCE
EMMA SAUNDERS - PHOTOGRAPHER
Emma is a senior at the College of Charleston studying studio art with a minor in entrepreneurship. During her time abroad in Aix-en-Provence, Emma is excited to document her journey through the perspective of an artist and Photographer for CEA CAPA. Outside of class, she looks forward to exploring the surrounding areas, finding her favorite local bakery, and volunteering to harvest grapes at a local vineyard!
KATE VAN LEEUWEN – VIDEOGRPAHER
Kate is a senior studying at the University of Minnesota-Duluth and is studying abroad this fall in Aix-en-Provence, France! Kate is a very outgoing person who loves to travel and make new friends. She has always loved art, dance, hiking, and seeing new things, and these are all reasons she is so excited to be in the beautiful city of Aix!
BARCELONA, SPAIN
JAZMIN HERNANDEZ – VIDEOGRAPHER
Jazmin (she/her) is a marketing major with a minor in advertising at the University of Houston. Jazmin is studying in Barcelona, Spain and will be documenting her experience through being a Videographer for CEA CAPA. Through studying abroad, she wants to learn more about what it means to have a global presence, meet creatives, immerse herself in her host city, and maybe learn some Catalán along the way!
KATE MCINTYRE – VIDEOGRAPHER
Kate is a marketing major with a minor in communication at Providence College, and will be studying abroad in Barcelona this fall. She will also be creating content as a Videographer for CEA CAPA this semester. Kate is looking forward to embracing Barcelona's rich culture and taking advantage of its central location for travel. She's excited to explore the city's neighborhoods and shops, along with taking adventurous weekend trips, all while documenting her experiences to share with the world. Kate can't wait to see how Barcelona shapes her creatively, both behind the camera and in everyday life.
SIENNA MCCARL – VIDEOGRAPHER
Sienna is a third-year student at California Polytechnic State University-San Luis Obispo. She is studying journalism during her semester abroad in Barcelona. She’s studying abroad to expand her worldview and learn about a new culture and city!
BANGKOK, THAILAND
DEADRIANNA WINTERS - PHOTOGRAPHER
Deadrianna (ดีดี่ dedee) (she/her) is a clinical psychology major at Indiana University Bloomington and is studying abroad in Thailand at Mahidol University this fall, documenting her journey as a Photographer with CEA CAPA. She is excited to start off her last year of college in Thailand and immerse herself in Thai culture. In her free time, dedee enjoys gaming, reading, visting new places, and she hopes to meet new people!

AVA WELCHER - BLOGGER
Ava (she/her) is a third-year student at California Polytechnic State University-San Luis Obispo, studying political science with a concentration in global politics and a minor in Asian studies. Ava is so excited to be studying in Budapest this fall and exploring all that Hungary has to offer, all while blogging for CEA CAPA. From immersing herself in local culture, to gaining experience and knowledge in European politics, to traveling the continent with friends, Ava can’t wait to begin her journey abroad.

KAMERON BUDD – VIDEOGRAPHER
Kameron is a senior screenwriting major from Loyola Marymount University in Los Angeles, originally from New York. They chose to study abroad in Budapest, Hungary because of their film school program and they wanted to learn more about a country they didn't previously know much about! They're excited to explore a new city, make life-long friends and memories, and eat lots of goulash.
DUBLIN, IRELAND
EMMA BLEZIEN' - VIDEOGRAPHER
Emma is a junior at Augustana College - Rock Island studying political science. She chose to intern and study abroad in Dublin, Ireland, to explore new paths, see how she shows up in different environments, and gain clarity about who she wants to be. She is excited about her internship, her classes, playing water polo, and participating as a Videographer while abroad.
ISABELLA MAROCCHINI – PHOTOGRAPHER
Isabella is a legal studies major with a minor in law and business at Lasell University. She will be a Photographer for CEA CAPA while studying and interning in Dublin, Ireland. She is looking forward to sharing her experience as an intern in Dublin as well as her journeys within the classroom. Outside of the classroom and her internship she hopes to share photographs of different historical and local places around Ireland.
LOLA KNOEBEL - BLOGGER
Lola is a student at Augustana College – Rock Island in Illinois, where she is majoring in English literature and psychology. She is an international student from Germany and studying abroad in Dublin, Ireland this fall. There, Lola will be taking classes as well as interning at a local media house. While studying abroad, she hopes to experience Irish culture, make new friends, try new foods and see Irish landmarks. Lola will be sharing her experiences as she explores Dublin as a Blogger!
FLORENCE, ITALY
BRIANA ZENON CARMEN – SOCIAL MEDIA INSIDER
Briana is a third-year communication studies major at California Polytechnic State University-San Luis Obispo. She is extremely excited to be studying abroad in Florence, Italy, as she has always dreamed of living there. She is excited to explore what the city has to offer and fully immerse herself in Italian culture. While she is studying abroad, she will also be interning at a marketing agency. She is excited to grow both academically, culturally, and professionally while abroad.
DELANEY RENWICK – VIDEOGRAPHER
Delaney is a third-year journalism major with an Italian minor at California Polytechnic State University-San Luis Obispo, and is studying abroad in Florence, Italy as a Videographer. With a passion for storytelling, she is excited to capture her experiences abroad while deepening her connection to her Italian heritage, strengthening her language skills, and immersing herself in everyday Italian culture. Delaney is also excited to explore different cities, meet people from around the world, and eat lots of pasta!
JOSHUA YOON – VIDEOGRAPHER
Joshua was born in Youngstown, Ohio, and is a senior at the University of Pittsburgh. He is a film media major under the production track. He is studying abroad in Florence, Italy, to learn more about international filmmaking and to participate in a film internship.
TASHI MANCHIP – BLOGGER
Tashi is an English major with a concentration in poetry and a minor in studio art at California Polytechnic State University-San Luis Obispo. She is studying abroad in Florence this fall where she will be writing blogs for CEA CAPA as she explores the city. She is excited to immerse herself in Italian culture and have the opportunity to take art and fashion design classes. Outside of her studies, Tashi loves creating short films, and is looking forward to hearing live music and trying new foods throughout the city.
FRENCH RIVIERA, FRANCE
HANNAH STERLING – VIDEOGRAPHER
Hannah is a senior attending SUNY Oneonta for English and writing. She is studying abroad on the French Riviera to learn more about French culture and language, and to explore as many other countries as she can.
NATALIE PARTRIDGE – SOCIAL MEDIA INSIDER
Natalie is a business administration major with an emphasis in marketing at Mount Saint Mary's University, where she is part of the Business Honors Program, a Dean’s List student, and a member of Delta Mu Delta International Business Honor Society. She is studying abroad at SKEMA Business School on the French Riviera, combining her passion for marketing with her longtime love of French culture. After studying French for four years, she's excited to improve her language skills through everyday conversations and local experiences. Natalie loves creating social media content, exploring new cities, and finding the best beaches, cafés, and hidden gems wherever she goes. She's especially interested in international business, luxury branding, and the different ways culture shapes consumer experiences. She hopes her study abroad journey inspires future students to step outside their comfort zones and make the most of every adventure.
GRANADA, SPAIN
PAULINE MEDINA – VIDEOGRAPHER
Pauline is a junior at Fordham University, studying business administration with a concentration in management and marketing. Pauline is excited to explore a new city and culture that she is not accustomed to and enhance her flamenco dance skills through authentic lessons. While in Granada she is especially excited to make new friends, grow career-wise, and live alone for the first time in her life!

KAYLA MUELLER – SOCIAL MEDIA INSIDER
Kayla is a student at Grand Canyon University studying entrepreneurship. She is passionate about business, entrepreneurship, and developing skills that will help her build a successful future. She is excited to study abroad on the Gold Coast of Australia because she wants to meet people from different backgrounds, travel to new places, and grow both personally and academically. She looks forward to exploring Australia and experiencing life down under. Through studying abroad, she hopes to become more independent, confident, and outspoken. She is especially excited to create new memories and learn from the people and experiences around her.
LONDON, ENGLAND
ANNIKA JOY SORENSEN – VIDEOGRAPHER
Annika Joy Sorensen is an acting BFA student at the University of Minnesota-Twin Cities. She is studying abroad this fall in London, England, doing workshops and masterclasses with the Royal Shakespeare Company. Aside from classes and rehearsal, she is most excited to ride the red double decker busses and explore the amazing art in the city. Grace is a junior at the University of Pittsburgh studying media and professional communications. She is studying and interning abroad to expand her horizons and explore new cultures!
KADY FINEGAN – VIDEOGRAPHER
Kady (she/her) is a junior at Rollins College, where she is majoring in communication, and minoring in theatre. She will be a videographer in London this fall, and is very excited to experience the city's history and culture in person. Outside of classes, she loves performing and watching live theatre, going to concerts, and spending time with friends. She is so excited to share her experience abroad—look out for her posts!
MIA BOJORQUEZ – SUSTAINABILITY BLOGGER
Mia (any pronouns) is a senior at DePaul University studying women and gender studies, who will be a Sustainability Blogger for CEA CAPA while studying and interning this fall. They are looking forward to exploring London and learning more about its history, going to the theatre, and doing anything art related.
MADRID, SPAIN
CHRISTINA MORAN – PHOTOGRAPHER
Christina is a business administration major with a concentration in marketing management at California Polytechnic State University-San Luis Obispo who will be a Photographer for CEA CAPA this fall while studying abroad in Madrid! She is looking forward to immersing herself in the city's culture and sharing her experiences with others. Outside of class, Christina is excited to visit her dad's side of the family who lives in Madrid, take cooking classes, explore new restaurants and shops, and go to Real Madrid games. KENIA SANCHEZ – PHOTOGRAPHER
Kenia is double majoring in marketing and management at the University of Houston and will be studying abroad while being a Photographer for CEA CAPA in Madrid this fall. She is looking forward to learning more from people with different perspectives, backgrounds, and interests while abroad, as well as exploring other cities and connecting with locals. Outside of her studies, Kenia loves music, dancing, making movies of her trips, and getting to make lasting relationships with the new people she meets. LIAM CARDEN – VIDEOGRAPHER
Liam is a junior at Virginia Commonwealth University, studying chemical engineering. He is studying abroad because his whole life he's always been close to family and friends, and he wants to put himself away from what is comfortable and see what kind of connections and memories he can build on his own. He thinks this is a great personal opportunity for him to strengthen his foundation as a person and a great way to experience growth! Liam loves going to the gym, running, and calisthenics. He also loves music and playing his guitar, especially songs on the heavy or atmospheric side. He loves making new friends and meeting new people as well.
SAM SUMSKI – SOCIAL MEDIA INSIDER
Sam is a student at California Polytechnic State University-San Luis Obispo studying real estate finance, and is originally from the Bay Area. Outside of school, he is passionate about golf and content creation and is always looking for a new course to play or something creative to work on. He’s also a huge sushi fan and will rarely turn down the chance to try a new spot. After college, Sam hopes to return to the Bay Area and build a career and life in San Francisco, combining his interest in real estate with his love for the city. He is excited to study in Madrid as an opportunity to experience a completely different culture, meet new people, and gain a broader perspective on the world. He’s especially looking forward to exploring new cities, experiencing the local food and culture, and hopefully getting a few rounds of golf in along the way. For Sam, studying abroad is a chance to step outside his comfort zone, make unforgettable memories, and come home with plenty of new experiences and stories to share.
PARIS, FRANCE
LANDRY RIGBY – SUSTAINABILITY BLOGGER
Landry is a junior international affairs student at Texas A&M University. She was born and raised in Dallas, Texas, and loves to travel. So far, the only European city Landry has visited is Berlin, so she is excited to study abroad in Paris, and plans to travel as much as she can during her time abroad.
MARIA PAWELCYZK – BLOGGER
Maria (she/her) is a third-year journalism major with a minor in business administration at the State University of New York at Oswego. She will be blogging for CEA CAPA while studying abroad in Paris. She is excited to learn about new people and cultures while abroad and cannot wait to see sites like the Eiffel Tower and the Palace of Versailles. Maria also hopes to visit other sites around France and its surrounding countries!
PATRICK SMITH – BLOGGER
Patrick is a senior at Louisiana State University studying sociology with a double minor in psychology and the French language. Holding the position of Blogger during his semester in Paris with CEA CAPA, he is looking forward to growing creatively, personally, and aspirationally in a career-driven setting. With the rest of a continent just a plane or train ride away, he is most looking forward to being fully steeped in the vibrance of cultural and linguistic diversity.

PEMA ROSEMAN – VIDEOGRAPHER
Pema is a neuroscience major at the University of San Diego who will be studying abroad in Prague. She is excited to travel because she hasn't visited many countries, and is looking forward to meeting as many people with different backgrounds as possible.

BROOKE ALEXANDER – PHOTOGRAPHER
Brooke is a third-year graphic communication major at California Polytechnic State University-San Luis Obispo. She will study abroad in Rome, Italy, and is excited to learn more about Italian culture and language while capturing special moments and places through photography. She is also excited to meet new people and travel as much as possible while abroad!
SAN JOSÉ, COSTA RICA
ABBY MERHEGE – BLOGGER
Abby (she/her) is a premedical student studying abroad in San José, Costa Rica. She attends the University of New Mexico and is hoping to improve her Spanish while abroad. Outside of school, you can find Abby participating in nonprofit advocacy, going on long runs, and making iced matcha lattes.
SEVILLE, SPAIN
GRETA CONLON – VIDEOGRAPHER
Greta is a student at Chapman University studying dance and global communication with a Spanish track. After first experiencing Spain through a five-week homestay and later returning as a group leader, she chose to study abroad in Seville to grow her confidence in the Spanish language and deepen her learning in Spanish culture. She is super excited to explore her passion for communication, travel, and storytelling.
JENNIFER KIM – VIDEOGRAPHER
Jennifer is a first-year student at the University of California-Los Angeles, majoring in neuroscience. She is excited to study abroad this fall quarter in Seville, Spain to expand her horizons to see a more global perspective, open herself up to new people and their cultures, lifestyles, and mannerisms, and discover more about herself and the world around her as she steps outside of her comfort zone!
SEBASTIAN HILOMEN – BLOGGER
Sebastian (he/him) is a political science major at the University of California-Los Angeles who is studying in Seville, Spain and blogging for CEA CAPA during the Fall 2026 term. Sebastian is excited to appreciate Spanish art and architecture, take weekend trips to Spain’s neighboring countries, and send postcards home. While stateside, he enjoys singing his heart out at concerts and going to the beach.
SYDNEY, AUSTRALIA
ANN ABDELMALEK – VIDEOGRAPHER
Ann is a student studying medical diagnostics on the Pre-Physician Assistant track at the University of Delaware. Her love for wellness, an active lifestyle, and the outdoors led her to choose Sydney, Australia, as her study abroad destination. Additionally, while abroad, Ann will be completing a nutrition research internship at the University of Sydney.
CHRIS JOHNSON – PHOTOGRAPHER
Chris (he/him) is a third-year student studying economics and communications at the University of Massachusetts, who is also serving as a Photographer for CEA CAPA this fall while studying abroad in Sydney. He is super excited to highlight not only the city, but his own unique experiences provided by his program! Chris also hopes to explore more of Australia beyond the borders of Sydney. Outside of class, Chris likes to relax in the pool, play frisbee with friends, and go out in search of some live music.
LEISEL HOPPER – VIDEOGRAPHER
Leisel is a first-year student at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill studying health policy management. She will serve as a Videographer in Sydney, Australia, for the fall semester through CEA CAPA. She is most excited about Sydney's active culture, with many run clubs and opportunities to join recreational sports teams. The beach brings her the most excitement, though, especially because it's only a 10-minute bus ride away.
LILY SONG – VIDEOGRAPHER
Lily (she/her) is a community and global public health major at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, studying abroad in Sydney, Australia this fall with CEA CAPA. She is excited to start off her first semester of college in Australia and to learn about Sydney’s wildlife and city culture. In her free time, Lily enjoys dance, visiting new cafes, and she hopes to meet new people from all backgrounds!

EMILY MENJIVAR – PHOTOGRAPHER
Emily (she/her) is a political science and ethical fashion production and marketing major at the University of Massachusetts, studying abroad in Tokyo, Japan. She will also be a Photographer for CEA CAPA this fall. She is excited to start her last semester of college in Japan and to learn about Japan's sustainable fashion initiatives and city culture. In her free time, Emily enjoys sowing and designing clothing, visiting historical museums, and she hopes to meet new people from all backgrounds while abroad!
