Why did you choose to study or intern abroad?
I chose to study abroad because I want to learn from people with different perspectives, backgrounds, and interests. I chose to study abroad in Madrid, Spain because I know I will find unexpected challenges that will give me the opportunity to grow as a person and I am excited to see what those challenges are (for example, I speak Spanish, so I currently do not believe there will be a language barrier, but possibly I could learn new meanings in Spain for words I already know).

What IS ONE NEW EXPERIENCE YOU'RE HOPING TO HAVE WHILE ABROAD?
A new experience I am hoping to have while abroad is to try to cook delicious authentic Spanish food (I am not the best cook). I hope to experience this with the people I meet within the program and for it be a core memory of studying abroad.

WHAT IS SOMETHING YOU'RE PASSIONATE AND EXCITED ABOUT?
Something I am passionate about is creating content and filming the trips I take. I know there is a lot to do both in Madrid and across Europe, so there is so much content that can be made. I also am excited about joining a run club or pickleball club while in Madrid, having a community, and becoming friends with locals.

What CLASS ARE YOU MOST LOOKING FORWARD TO TAKING while ABROAD?
I am most looking forward to my storytelling class. I think it is important to tell a story through my content, connect with people, and also get a message across. As I go into my career of marketing, I want to be skilled with storytelling and be able to bring value in content.
