Why did you choose to study or intern abroad?
I chose to study abroad and intern because while it is such a unique experience to continue my studies with fellow students abroad, also being able to have hands-on internship experience with non-students and members of the community is a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity! I also chose Sydney as a destination because ever since I was a kid this has been an area I wanted to explore. In the future, I see myself making fun quick travel plans with friends to places like Europe due to distance, but going abroad is a perfect way to enjoy living in Australia.

What IS ONE NEW EXPERIENCE YOU'RE HOPING TO HAVE WHILE ABROAD?
One new experience I'm hoping to have abroad is working with Australians. My internship has me so excited because the people running it have been so kind to me thus far, and it's so cool to both be working towards a goal together despite being from totally different backgrounds.

WHAT IS SOMETHING YOU'RE PASSIONATE AND EXCITED ABOUT?
I'm very passionate and excited about the music and nightlife scene. As someone who does acapella back in my home institution, music is just something that's so universal. Any chance I have to catch live music in Sydney will be a blessing.

What CLASS ARE YOU MOST LOOKING FORWARD TO TAKING while ABROAD?
A class I'm looking forward to taking is "Australia in the World." This class will dive into the government and politics of Australia in relation to the Asia-Pacific region. While I'm familiar with Australia already in the tourist and travel sense, I'm excited I get to dive into the more real topics and knowledge that the average Australian visitor won't know about.
