Why did you choose to study or intern abroad?
I chose to study abroad because I've always heard amazing things about the experience, and when the opportunity came about, I knew I couldn't miss out. My dad was born and raised in Madrid, and all his family still lives out there. I grew up visiting every summer, but I haven't been back in a long time, so I chose to study in Madrid because I love the city so much and also so I can visit my family.

What IS ONE NEW EXPERIENCE YOU'RE HOPING TO HAVE WHILE ABROAD?
I am hoping to make some friends with people who live in Spain, so I have a reason to come back and visit, and also learn more about the Spanish lifestyle of someone my age.

WHAT IS SOMETHING YOU'RE PASSIONATE AND EXCITED ABOUT?
I'm very passionate about my faith and about serving my community through an organization called YoungLife, so I hope to get involved in Spain. I also love line dancing, reading, cooking/baking, and just relaxing with my friends at the pool or watching movies at home.

What CLASS ARE YOU MOST LOOKING FORWARD TO TAKING while ABROAD?
I am really looking forward to my sports culture and history class. I grew up in a soccer family, but I've always loved watching sports. I'm also a huge Real Madrid fan, so I'm hoping we will learn more about the team in the class.
