Going abroad with CEA CAPA next semester and love to produce creative work? Share your study abroad journey through photography, blogging, or video as a CEA CAPA Content Creator! Partner with a global organization and develop professional skills to add to your resume. Please complete all application fields below.

Blog Applicants

Please create a sample blog based on your choice of one of the following three prompts. Your blog should be approximately 500 words in length and include three photos. Once your sample is complete, share the link here (Google Drive links are accepted, please make sure link sharing settings are set to 'anyone with link can view').

  • PROMPT 1: Why did you select your study abroad city and what are you most looking forward to learning?
  • PROMPT 2: Share an overview of the cultural/important sites to see, places to visit, food to eat, etc. in your hometown, university neighborhood, city, or state.
  • PROMPT 3: What is an aspect of your identity you are excited to explore further while studying abroad?

Come up with 3 sample blog topics that prospective study abroad students would like to read, and that you're interested in writing while abroad.

Photo Applicants

Please create a photo story on your choice of one of the following three prompts. Your photo story should include 10 photos and a 3-5 sentence Statement of Purpose. Once your photo story is complete, share the link here (Google Drive links are accepted, please make sure link sharing settings are set to 'anyone with link can view').

  • PROMPT 1: A photo story of the cultural/important sites to see, places to visit, food to eat, etc. in your hometown, university neighborhood, city, or state.
  • PROMPT 2: A photo story of an aspect of your identity that's important to you.
  • PROMPT 3: A photo story of something you're passionate about doing, or something that captures an aspect of your daily life.

Come up with 3 sample photo story topics that prospective study abroad students would like to see, and that you are interested in photographing while abroad.

Video Applicants

Please create a sample video based on your choice of one of the following three prompts. Your video can either be a traditional YouTube vlog (2-4 minutes), or TikTok (1-2 minutes). Once your video is complete, share the link here.

  • PROMPT 1: Share something you're passionate about doing, or something that captures an aspect of your daily life.
  • PROMPT 2: Share an overview of the cultural/important sites to see, places to visit, food to eat, etc. in your hometown, university neighborhood, city, or state.
  • PROMPT 3: What is an aspect of your identity you are excited to explore further while studying abroad?

Sample Video Set Topics: Come up with 3 sample video set topics that prospective study abroad students would like to watch, and you are interested in filming.

Please provide an example of your work. If you already have a blog, YouTube/TikTok channel, or sample of your photography, please provide a link here. This is not required but appreciated. NOTE: You must create a sample blog, video, or photoset for the previous section to be considered for this position, this section is only meant as a supplement to that sample.

All submitted work produced by CEA CAPA Content Creators must be completely original and not appear elsewhere. Any work copied or plagiarized will be disregarded and will immediately disqualify the Content Creator from their role. Creative work contributed by Content Creators becomes CEA CAPA's content and may be distributed through digital and print channels.

The content submitted must not depict excessive drinking, dangerous activities, nudity, inappropriate language, or show disrespect toward any group, culture, or community. Content Creators must not participate in anything that would put themselves or others in danger.
