Realize you forgot your book at home? No worries, there are plenty of bookstores to scope out while in the Netherlands. With many of its population speaking English Amsterdam has many bookstores with English language books. Stop by one of the largest bookstores in the Netherlands, Scheltema, where it holds the largest collection of English-language books in the country. Or if you’re into Nature and landscaping visit the bookstore Architecture & Natura, where they have the books about nature and landscaping in many different languages.  Calling all foodies! Eating in the Netherlands can be an adventure, there is plenty to try when it comes to food, and even drinks. Moeders Restaurant in Amsterdam is a charming restaurant where the walls are covered in photos from customers who have enjoyed their traditional Dutch dishes along the Singelgracht canal. But if you’re feeling adventurous head out to Canvas, a trendy restaurant on one of the largest rooftop terraces in Amsterdam.

  • Keukenhof Keukenhof, known as the Garden of Europe, is one of the world’s largest flower gardens, located in Lisse, Netherlands. Open only in spring, it features millions of blooming tulips, daffodils, and hyacinths. A visit to Keukenhof is a vibrant celebration of Dutch horticultural heritage.

  • Anne Frank House The Anne Frank House in Amsterdam is a poignant museum dedicated to the Jewish diarist and holocaust victim Anne Frank. Visitors can explore the secret annex where she hid along with her family, the Van Pels family, and their acquaintance Fritz Pfeffer during WWII, gaining insight into her life and the atrocities of the Holocaust.
