Global Dialogue Series
Online Lecture Series
Global Dialogues is an international, cross-cultural and virtual lecture series. Similar to CEA’s practice at our onsite locations, this lecture series invites distinguished scholars, intellectuals, artists and entrepreneurs to present and discuss themes and topics with connections to our courses. What’s more, our Virtual Study Center offers the unique opportunity to unite guests from across our sites within one virtual and global environment, facilitating cross-cultural and comparative exchange. Though speakers will address subjects of global interest, most themes and topics will be approached through a local lens, offering exposure to perspectives otherwise difficult to find. Global Dialogues will enrich and deepen our virtual students’ educational experience.
CEA offers two to four Global Dialogues per term and topics selected focus on themes that are globally relevant and timely. Subjects include Art & Culture, Anthropology, Psychology, Health Studies, Entrepreneurship, Sustainability, Political Relations and more. Global Dialogues are open to CEA’s student body, our US university partners, and colleagues from our international communities, with the aim to foster dialogue between distinct perspectives. With the CEA Global Dialogues, we are committed to hosting intellectual discussions that challenge and inspire each of us while also fostering a sense of community with our students, faculty, partner organizations and universities.
