CEA CAPA Internships Abroad is continuously broadening our internship opportunities around the world and takes care to align each internship with an intern’s experience and area of interest.
Please note some internship abroad placements may need candidates to have completed upper-level courses in the respective area, possess specific set of skills, and/or be capable of demonstrating knowledge. Here is a sample of what arts global internships abroad can entail.
Position Description
Arts interns will use their research skills to collect information. Interns will be asked to make judgements regarding this through both observation and review of data. Some duties will include:
- Integrating and developing visual elements to produce desired effects
- Receiving visitors at the service and meeting points for tours and accompanying the tours to perform support tasks
- Repairing, restoring, and reassembling artifacts

This customization is identified through our placement process and expands as the intern begins their internship and engages with their supervisor.

- Design and arrange artifacts or products of exhibition, report their condition, and identify/correct any problems with set up.
- Assist with pre- and post-production paperwork, administration, and transcribing.
- Organize campaigns, photoshoots, and visiting design fairs.
