Why did you choose to study/intern abroad?
For me, it was never a matter of choosing if I wanted to study abroad, it was deciding where I would go. My mom has instilled in me a love for travel since I was little, and through the years I have found how much it has shaped me into who I am today. I chose to study abroad for everything it would teach me, and allow me to grow. I am excited about the coming adventures and memories throughout my time abroad.
Why did you choose your study/intern city?
I chose to study abroad in Paris for various reasons. I never had a specific place I wanted to go but I knew I wanted to be in a larger city, and also be in a place where travel was easy. Due to Covid, I considered that I may need to stay within the country for some of my travels. France offers a variety of landscapes within its borders: city, countryside, mountains, beaches, fields, and more. Furthermore, France's central location makes it easy to travel to other countries when I have the chance. I also chose Paris because I was looking to improve my French. I took french for 7 years through middle and high school, but nothing will compare to learning it abroad while living in a country that speaks it as its primary language. Lastly, I chose Paris because I felt it aligned with my interests and career goals in advertising and fashion.
What are you most looking forward to during your abroad experience?
I am looking forward to the personal growth I will see within myself through this new experience and independence, as well as the people I will meet and the memories I will make in the coming months.
Fun Fact (hobbies, interests, accomplishment, etc.)?
