Why did you choose to study or intern abroad?
I believe studying abroad is an amazing, once-in-a-lifetime experience, and I could not pass it up!
Why did you choose your study/intern destination?
When I found out that the University of Miami was introducing a new program to Costa Rica, I knew I had to apply! It has been a dream destination of mine, as I love tropical environments, hence my decision to go to school in Miami.
What CLASS ARE YOU MOST LOOKING FORWARD TO TAKING while ABROAD?
I am taking two Spanish classes, and I am really hoping to improve my understanding of the language. Going to school in Miami, I hear it all of the time, but I can never understand or communicate back. I hope with my classes and immersion in the culture that I can gain a better understanding of the language and use it even after my program ends.
WHAT IS SOMETHING you're passionate and excited about?
I am very passionate about being active and outdoors. Costa Rica is the best place for that! I am actually a certified yoga instructor, so I hope to find some cool classes in Costa Rica when I need to take a step back and relax.
