Why did you choose to study or intern abroad?
Candidly, I chose to study abroad for a second time this semester because being a queer person in Alabama is not easy! I chose London this time around because I love literature, and London is one of the largest publishing capitals of the world.

What IS ONE NEW EXPERIENCE YOU'RE HOPING TO HAVE WHILE ABROAD?
I am looking forward to connecting with other writers from different cultural backgrounds, since cultural baggage is so formative to the literature that a person produces.

WHAT IS SOMETHING YOU'RE PASSIONATE AND EXCITED ABOUT?
I am extremely passionate about literature, both writing and reading, though my focus is the former. I also have a huge love of theatre, both as an actor and audience member, and cannot wait to see the shows that London has to offer. Deviating away from the arts, I am interested in law, particularly as it pertains to civil rights, and hope to go on to law school upon my graduation.

What CLASS ARE YOU MOST LOOKING FORWARD TO TAKING while ABROAD?
I am most looking forward to my Human Rights in a Global Context class. It has nothing to do with my major, and I’m frankly out of electives, so I may have to drop it, but I am very interested in the subject! Otherwise, it would be my British Theatre class.
