Why did you choose to study or intern abroad?
Since I learned about study abroad in high school, I always had it in the back of my mind that it would be something I was interested in. While waiting in the long voting lines last year, I started talking to a couple whose daughter was studying in Amsterdam. We chatted about how much fun she was having and how easy it is to travel from Amsterdam to other countries, and that conversation eventually led me to sit down in my university's global engagement office and ask if I could apply.

Dutch Lit and Culture of the Golden Age, and Buddhism, Mindfulness and Psychology!

WHAT IS SOMETHING you're passionate and excited about? 
I love photography, yoga, and finding good spots to get cozy with a book. I also enjoy antique, flea, and farmers markets (all markets really…), and good food.
