Megan Randall
Megan Randall is responsible for managing CEA’s internship coaching and placement process while creating a positive student career development experience. She oversees the Internship Coaching team and works closely with the Enrollment Operations Leadership team and the International Team to execute exemplary career development programming and placement processes that support CEA internship students and partner institutions.
Megan is passionate about providing high quality international internships for students that facilitate their personal, academic, and professional growth, and equip them with the essential career-readiness skills employers seek. She has 10+ years of experience advising, coaching, and teaching students in both international and domestic contexts. Prior to joining CEA, Megan spent 6 years at the University of Utah, first as a Learning Abroad Coordinator then as a Career Coach, where she prepared students to participate in high-impact educational practices including study abroad programs and internships. Megan obtained her Master’s Degree in International Education from SIT Graduate Institute in Brattleboro, VT and her Bachelor’s Degree in Sociology from Skidmore College.
Growing up in a small rural village in Vermont fostered in Megan an early desire to push herself out of her comfort zone and learn about the world beyond her home state. Megan’s curiosity to travel and learn about different cultures led her to study abroad in South Africa and Mexico, teach English as a Second Language in Tanzania, and do an international internship in Nicaragua. Megan is an enthusiastic lifelong learner. She believes differences make us – and the world – stronger, and that there are always opportunities for us to learn more about ourselves, other people, and the world, no matter where we are!
