Why did you choose to study or intern abroad?
As an architecture student, I’ve always been fascinated by the incredible buildings we study in class, especially those in Europe. After seeing so many of them in textbooks and lectures, I wanted the chance to experience them in person, to walk through the spaces, see the details up close, and to really feel the history behind them. When I found out my program offered the opportunity to study in Paris, it felt like the perfect chance to not only explore one of the most iconic cities for architecture but also to be inspired every day by the world around me!
What IS ONE NEW EXPERIENCE YOU'RE HOPING TO HAVE WHILE ABROAD?
I am hoping to immerse myself in the culture through exploring neighborhoods, visiting iconic architecture I’ve only seen in class, and discovering how design shapes everyday life in the city. I also want to step outside my comfort zone and meet new people from around the world.
What CLASS ARE YOU MOST LOOKING FORWARD TO TAKING while ABROAD?
I’m most excited for my drawing class! Sketching isn’t something I’ve always felt confident in, so I see this as a great opportunity to step out of my comfort zone and develop both my skills and confidence in drawing.
WHAT IS SOMETHING you're passionate and excited about?
I love movies and taking photos and videos!
