Scott Wilson serves as Chief Executive Officer, bringing more than 30 years of leadership experience across global travel, hospitality and technology organizations.
Throughout his career, Scott has led organizations through periods of growth and transformation, with a focus on bringing together purpose, people and performance. His experience includes leadership roles with Marriott International, United Airlines and Great Wolf Resorts. Most recently, he served as President of Sabre Hospitality Solutions, where he led a global organization serving the hospitality industry.
Scott was drawn to the organization by its mission and the opportunity to create positive impact through global learning. His connection to that mission is also personal. His family has experienced the transformative power of studying abroad firsthand, including his daughter, who participated in a CEA CAPA program in London. Seeing the confidence, perspective and enthusiasm she gained through the experience reinforced his belief in the power of global experiences to build greater understanding of the world and one another.
As a leader, Scott believes strong cultures and strong businesses go hand in hand. He is passionate about building high-performing teams, creating cultures where people treat one another well and ensuring that an organization’s mission is reflected not only in what it says, but in how its people show up every day. He brings a listen-first approach to leadership and believes deeply in learning from the people closest to the work.
Born and raised in the San Francisco Bay Area, Scott earned a bachelor’s degree in Political Economics from the University of California, Berkeley, and a master’s degree in Marketing and Operations Research from Carnegie Mellon University. He and his wife are based in Chicago and have three adult children. Outside of work, Scott is an avid sports fan, particularly of his hometown San Francisco 49ers and Giants, and appreciates the ability of sports and travel alike to bring people together.
