I interned abroad! I really enjoyed getting to learn all about the work culture and environment in Spain. I also loved the opportunity to get to know my coworkers and learn more about the city through them. I interned with a co-living company named Enso on the Community Team, where I also got to interact with tenants living in the apartments from all over the world.

I had the opportunity to work with many locals while abroad which allowed me to engage with the local community. I often spent time with my coworkers outside of my internship, where they would show me local restaurants or some of their favorite places around the city! Many of my coworkers were also from around the world, and had been living in Barcelona for a period of time, so they were excited to share more about their home countries as well. I also loved to explore different family-owned coffee shops or boutiques in Barcelona!
