WHAT WAS YOUR FAVORITE CLASS WHILE ABROAD, AND WHY?

My favorite class was Spanish Food and Culture. This was my favorite because we got to attend a cooking class and taste lots of great food and wine. In addition, I learned much about the history of Spain and gastronomy, as well as thoroughly enjoyed my professor.
HOW
DID YOU ENGAGE WITH THE LOCAL COMMUNITY WHILE ABROAD?
I engaged with the local community by talking with the locals at the bars or stores near my house. My roommates and I became great friends with the owner and the employees at La Queseria and it really helped us become immersed in the culture. In addition, I supported the local charity shop by donating and talking with the workers there as well. There were many other Spanish friends I made while abroad and I appreciated how they welcomed my friends and I with open arms.
