WHAT WAS YOUR FAVORITE CLASS WHILE ABROAD, AND WHY?
My favorite class was Sports & Culture. I loved this class because I really learned a lot about the overlap of sports (especially futbol), government, and culture in Spain. We also went on a field trip to the Bernabeu and another soccer stadium.
WHAT'S ONE STORY OR IMPORTANT ASPECT YOU ALWAYS TELL PEOPLE ABOUT YOUR TIME ABROAD?
I always rave about the amazing work-life balance Spaniards have, and how this changed my perspective of what I want my life to look like. I was able to explore Madrid, travel, while also studying and doing well in my classes. I felt the Spaniards I met and my professors shared this mentality, of valuing the "little things" in life and exploring, rather than being locked up in the library or office building like we often see here in America.
