Why did you choose to study or intern abroad?
I chose to study abroad because I have always had a passion for learning more about the Spanish language and culture. There is no better way to experience the language and culture than to be fully immersed in it while abroad! I chose Alicante, Spain, specifically because of its location. I've always wanted to be somewhere close to a beach, and it wasn't too big of a city for me.
WhAT IS ONE NEW EXPERIENCE YOU'RE HOPING TO HAVE WHILE ABROAD?
I hope that I will be able to have a good flowing Spanish conversation with a local while abroad. I am really hoping that my Spanish skills progress and that they show in my conversations!
I am looking most forward to being in my conversational Spanish class while abroad. This is because this is my weakest spot when learning Spanish as a whole, so I really anticipate seeing improvement.
WHAT IS SOMETHING you're passionate and excited about?
I am passionate and excited to try new foods! I cannot wait to try paella, as well as fresh fruits and vegetables. I am a big foodie, so eating good food is important to me!
