HOW DID YOU ENGAGE WITH THE LOCAL COMMUNITY WHILE ABROAD?
Engaging with the local community was made much easier living with a host family. My host mom and sister would allow us to come meet their friends, have their friends over for dinner, and etc. This was so cool to be apart of because it really made Seville feel like home. Also, being able to experience Feria was a great way to immerse myself in the community. Meeting new friends and getting invited into their casitas, meeting their families, talking, and dancing was such a special experience that I will cherish forever.

WHAT WAS YOUR FAVORITE CLASS WHILE ABROAD, AND WHY?
My favorite class abroad was Spanish for Health Professionals because I was simultaneously working in a hospital in Spain where I could use my new Spanish medical knowledge. The teacher was also amazing and one of my now good friends! My internship was a very unique experience because I was able to be immersed in the workplace environment in Spain and be able to compare it to what I was used to, learn skills that I never knew I needed, and bring those skills back here to the US!
