WHAT WAS YOUR FAVORITE CLASS WHILE ABROAD, AND WHY?

My favorite class was my food and culture class. We learned about the history of olive oil and oranges that help put into perspective living there for a period of time. We learned about how the Spanish interact with one another, as well as their main products produced all over Spain. I found this interesting coming from an international business minor.
HOW
DID YOU ENGAGE WITH THE LOCAL COMMUNITY WHILE ABROAD?
In Seville I lived within the local neighborhoods. Walking to class every day, buying groceries, and even going out to eat were some of the main ways I engaged and immersed. I was able to practice my Spanish and adjust to local customs when put in these situations, and was able to communicate with waiters, workers, and even the neighborhood.
