WHAT WAS YOUR FAVORITE CLASS WHILE ABROAD, AND WHY?
My favorite class abroad was my communications class, which I had actually switched into at the last minute. It ended up being the class I loved the most. The professor was amazing and had a great sense of humor, which made me want to stay engaged and excited to learn. Through this class, I gained a deeper understanding of Italian culture and how different cultures communicate in ways that go beyond just language. Anyone who knows me knows how much I talk about, and rave about this class!
HOW DID YOU ENGAGE WITH THE LOCAL COMMUNITY WHILE ABROAD?
While abroad, I engaged with the local community by participating in the free excursions that were offered. My favorite experience was visiting the Museum of Illusions in Florence. My roommate and I had so much fun exploring the exhibits and meeting people in a different setting from our classes, as well as connecting with new people in CEA CAPA. These activities gave me the chance to learn in an interactive way and feel more immersed in the culture around me.
