WHAT WAS YOUR FAVORITE CLASS WHILE ABROAD, AND WHY?

France, State, Institutions, and Society was my favorite class because we got to learn about the core aspects of French history and national identity. Our professor was very knowledgeable and extremely passionate, which made the class lively. He encouraged the international students to share their experiences and perspectives, allowing all of us to take away so much more beyond the curriculum.
HOW
DID YOU ENGAGE WITH THE LOCAL COMMUNITY WHILE ABROAD?
I engaged with the local community by attending farmers markets and talking to vendors every day. Going to the same places at the same times over the course of a few months made me a familiar face to some of the locals. I enjoyed my interactions and I felt more confident speaking French as time went on.
