HOW DID YOU ENGAGE WITH THE LOCAL COMMUNITY WHILE ABROAD?
One of the best ways I engaged with the local community was through pickup soccer games. I was able to find a local pickup game every Thursday night to go play in. It lead to meeting many new people and evening being invited to play on a Sunday league team (even though it was a week before I was leaving).
WHAT WAS YOUR FAVORITE CLASS WHILE ABROAD, AND WHY?
My favorite class was Dutch Langage Class because it really gave me a chance to connect with the place I was in. While my math and CS classes were educational and interesting, being able to learn a new langage and then apply it the next day was something I will remember forever.
