WHAT WAS YOUR FAVORITE CLASS WHILE ABROAD, AND WHY?
Send an Email
My favorite class while abroad was "The Policies of Organized Crime: Mafia and Anti-Mafia". We had class both in the classroom and out in our local community. We learned from our professor and from outside speakers, who were incredibly interesting to hear recount their experiences and knowledge on the topic. I loved attending this class and, if given a chance, would take it again!
HOW
DID YOU ENGAGE WITH THE LOCAL COMMUNITY WHILE ABROAD?
I was able to engage my local community by frequenting multiple restaurants around my apartment. I formed relationships with the employees and owners of these restaurants, some of whom I still talk to today. I also attended local events such as farmers' markets, holiday events, and weekly markets.
