WHAT WAS YOUR FAVORITE CLASS WHILE ABROAD, AND WHY?
My favorite class was my Survey of Environmental Science class! I am incredibly passionate about sustainability and environmental conservation, so I took this class because the syllabus and class description were appealing to me. In this class, I ended up being the only student, so I got a 1 on 1 class with a professor who did his PhD in a field I'm really interested in!
HOW DID YOU ENGAGE WITH THE LOCAL COMMUNITY WHILE ABROAD?
In the local community, I became a regular at my favorite coffee shop, shopped from local boutiques and stores, and tried to speak as much in French as I could. It was awesome being able to culturally immerse myself during my study abroad, and I urge anyone who is going on a study abroad to spend as much time as you can engaging in local activities and events!
