HOW DID YOU ENGAGE WITH THE LOCAL COMMUNITY WHILE ABROAD?
I took culture courses during my time abroad to better understand the community I was living in. I would frequently try to lose myself in my local neighborhoods and get to know the community despite communication barriers.
WHAT WAS YOUR FAVORITE CLASS WHILE ABROAD, AND WHY?
I took a culture in the city course and it was amazing!! I truly had no idea what I was getting myself into in Spain. I learned things American schools did not teach. I love history and taking a class like this made me appreciate my study abroad experience like no other.
