Why did you choose to study or intern abroad?
I have wanted to study abroad since I was young. Traveling has always been a big part of my life, so I have always had a dream to live abroad and experience what its like to be fully immersed in a new culture. I chose Aix-en-Provence, France as my destination. As an art education major, Aix is the perfect place for me to study because the town is a center for the arts. There is a lot of artistic history in town, which is a great opportunity for me to see and study in person.

What IS ONE NEW EXPERIENCE YOU'RE HOPING TO HAVE WHILE ABROAD?
One new experience I am hoping to have abroad is to explore as much as I can and try new things outside of my comfort zone! I'd love to attend workshops and events I couldn't do at home, and take advantage of seeing all the museums and creating art in a town where some of my favorite artists once lived!

What CLASS ARE YOU MOST LOOKING FORWARD TO TAKING while ABROAD?
I am most looking forward to my painting class because there are field trips to big art museums and I will have class outside painting landscapes, which has been something I have always wanted to try.

WHAT IS SOMETHING you're passionate and excited about? 
I love being outdoors, so I am excited to explore the scenic area and travel as much as I can. I love to snowboard, hike, and go to the beach, so I hope to take advantage of the natural beauty of the south of France.
