WHAT WAS YOUR FAVORITE CLASS WHILE ABROAD, AND WHY?

My favorite class that I took while abroad was Social Psychology. I had the best teacher that made class so interesting and kept the lectures exciting. My favorite part was our final project, which encouraged us to interact with and analyze our local community in Barcelona. I learned so much interesting information that I carry with me in my interactions to this day.

DID YOU ENGAGE WITH THE LOCAL COMMUNITY WHILE ABROAD?
I engaged with the local community while abroad by volunteering as an English Teacher Assistant at a local elementary school. This experience was one that I will treasure for the rest of my life. It was so special to feel like I was making a difference in children's lives by helping them improve their language skills. The teacher that I worked with also became my mentor, teaching me so much about the Barcelona and Catalan culture.
