HOW DID YOU ENGAGE WITH THE LOCAL COMMUNITY WHILE ABROAD?
One of my favorite activities was visiting coffee shops and cafes all over the city. I loved being able to connect with workers, drink delicious coffee and eat yummy pastries while supporting smaller businesses. Additionally, I loved shopping at spots such as Camden Market that had local vendors. This way, I was able to directly support a variety of local, smaller businesses.
WHAT WAS YOUR FAVORITE CLASS WHILE ABROAD, AND WHY?
My favorite class was my London Museums class. Our professor, Sylvia, is a passionate, knowledgeable woman that got to know each of us quite well. Additionally, we spent lots of time exploring the city and the art that lives within it's walls. It was so refreshing having a professor that showed such great care for her students while also teaching so intently.
