Benjamin Sidney, Custom Program Developer

Benjamin Sidney has been working in the study abroad industry since 2014, with previous experience as a professor and Teaching Assistant Supervisor. In his current role as Academic Affairs Coordinator at CEA CAPA in Florence, Benjamin is focused on helping students navigate their academic journey while studying abroad. He works as a bridge between students, faculty, and academic partners, academic advising, and managing the logistics of field trips and co-curricular activities. Providing support to faculty in resolving any requests or issues that arise during the program. His goal is to support students in balancing their academic goals with cultural exploration to ensure they have a successful and enriching experience.
Previously, Benjamin worked in the Career & Internship Programs (CIP) at CEA CAPA, where he helped students connect with meaningful internship opportunities abroad, providing valuable hands-on experience to complement their academic studies. Outside of his role in academic affairs, Benjamin is also a professional photographer and a certified AV technician. As part of his diverse skill set, he is currently producing photo and video content for CEA CAPA, contributing to the company’s visual media and communication efforts.
Currently pursuing a degree in History at the University of Florence, Benjamin is committed to lifelong learning. He is passionate about supporting students' academic success while encouraging them to embrace the cultural experiences that studying abroad provides.
