WHAT WAS YOUR FAVORITE CLASS WHILE ABROAD, AND WHY?

My favorite class while I was abroad was my Secret Florence Walks class because I got to learn small facts while exploring the city. I got to hear about the Medici family's influence over the years, see the Dante stones, and discover the hidden Michelangelo (supposedly) carving in the Palazzo Vecchio. It was nice to hear from a local about all of the little-known history of Florence in various parts of the city. I would never have known any of that without that class.
HOW
DID YOU ENGAGE WITH THE LOCAL COMMUNITY WHILE ABROAD?
I loved frequenting certain quick-service restaurants. The owners and cashiers would recognize me and greet me so warmly. It was awesome to create a routine while I was there, including what I ate and when I ordered coffee. My orders were almost always the same, and they always remembered, so it was funny to interact with the employees there.
