My favorite class while abroad was definitely the Spanish class I took. This was a very small and intimate class with about 12 students. We were all able to get to know one another on a deeper level. I loved the content, the coursework, and the professor!
HOW
DID YOU ENGAGE WITH THE LOCAL COMMUNITY WHILE ABROAD?
As a native Spanish speaker I felt as though I was able to be much more engaged with the local community than those who did not speak the language. I did everything I could to really immerse myself into the local community. To do this I was a part of the micro credential program offered by CEA CAPA. This program forced me to truly put myself in others shoes. I attended sports games, watched Spanish news, and lived a local.
