WHAT WAS YOUR FAVORITE CLASS WHILE ABROAD, AND WHY?

My favorite class was Architecture and Painting in Barcelona because so much of what we learned connected directly to the city around us. We learned about Barcelona’s architecture, history, and culture, and I was able to see many of the places and buildings we discussed in class in person. It made learning feel much more hands-on and gave me a greater appreciation for the city.
HOW
DID YOU ENGAGE WITH THE LOCAL COMMUNITY WHILE ABROAD?
I engaged with the local community by really trying to make Barcelona feel like home rather than just a place I was visiting. I explored different neighborhoods, practiced my Spanish whenever I could, tried local restaurants and markets, and participated in cultural activities through CEA CAPA. I also loved learning about the city’s culture and traditions and becoming comfortable navigating Barcelona on my own.
