Why did you choose to study abroad?
I chose to study abroad because traveling has always intrigued me since I was little. While in high school, I learned about this opportunity and wanted to experience it myself. I chose Japan and South Korea because I always wanted to travel to both countries. I'm also a huge fan of their pop culture and wanted to learn more cultural aspects.

What IS ONE NEW EXPERIENCE YOU'RE HOPING TO HAVE WHILE ABROAD?
One experience I hope to have abroad is stepping out of my comfort zone. I'm an introvert and usually keep to myself. So, I want to experience everything study abroad has to offer and leave with no regrets.

WHAT IS SOMETHING YOU'RE PASSIONATE AND EXCITED ABOUT? I'm passionate about content creation and fan culture, being a huge anime and K-pop fangirl. I've connected with many people who enjoy these interests through social media and content creation.

WHAT CLASS ARE YOU MOST LOOKING FORWARD TO TAKING ABROAD? I'm looking forward to Cross-Cultural Studies (Anime & Japanese Popular Culture). To fully immerse myself in Japanese pop culture and anime while abroad will give a different perspective.
