HOW DID YOU ENGAGE WITH THE LOCAL COMMUNITY WHILE ABROAD?
I would engage with the local community by asking recommending local places to go from my coworkers. I wanted to fit in the best I could so when I was in public I would try my best to not speak Spanish and observe the culture around me. I would also try to go to local restaurants and previously upon my arrival I researched and followed many people who were local to Madrid to understand how they lived.
WHAT WAS YOUR FAVORITE CLASS WHILE ABROAD, AND WHY?
I interned with Constellation Consulting and I learned so much in the two months that I was there. I learned how to do intense research and I gained experience with presentations. It also helped me learn personally what it looks like to work in Spain.
