I would definitely say my internship was one of my favorite parts of studying abroad. I got real marketing experience with social media, market research, and content planning, but I also learned so much just from working with people from a different culture. It pushed me out of my comfort zone and taught me things I never could have learned in a normal classroom.
HOW
DID YOU ENGAGE WITH THE LOCAL COMMUNITY WHILE ABROAD?
A big way I connected with the local community was through my internship and the people I met there. I was constantly asking them questions about their culture, language, food, and everyday life, and they were always so excited to teach me new things. It was such a fun way to learn more about Barcelona and really experience the culture.
