Why did you choose to study or intern abroad?
Even before I decided what university I wanted to attend, I knew that no matter where I went I wanted to study abroad. Never having been to Europe, I relied on help from those who have. Italy has always been a place I wanted to visit and I only heard great things about Florence. The more I looked into CEA CAPA’s program and the courses they offered, I knew studying in Florence would be an incredible opportunity.
What IS ONE NEW EXPERIENCE YOU'RE HOPING TO HAVE WHILE ABROAD?
One experience I want to have is attending at least one event at The Winter Olympics. I have never been before, and I believe that it would be such an incredible opportunity to see people from around the world cheering on their teams. I love ice hockey and played in high school, so seeing either a men' s or women's game is at the top of my list!
What CLASS ARE YOU MOST LOOKING FORWARD TO TAKING while ABROAD?
I am most excited to take Bad Blood: Rivalries in the History of Art. The range of artists and topics that this class description entails seems so interesting to me.
WHAT IS SOMETHING you're passionate and excited about?
In addition to my love of photography, I am a writer! I interned with the Colorado Arts and Sciences Magazine this fall and I loved learning about different disciplines. In addition to this I am in Her Campus CU Boulder, a journalism club that has chapters all over the country. I love writing about the music I’m listening to or recommending products I enjoy.
