Internationalize your profile and widen your global perspective. In this integrated program, designed for students at all levels of French language ability, you'll take business courses alongside French and other international students—in your choice of English or French—at NOVANCIA Business School’s eco-friendly campus. You'll also take French language courses and choose from a wide range of business and elective courses, taught in English, at the CEA Paris Center. Acquire business skills applicable to both the French- and English-speaking worlds. An Early Start option allows you to jump start your language learning before the program starts.

The CEA CAPA Paris Center, located in the heart of the Marais district, offers an exceptional study abroad experience steeped in history and culture in the “City of Love.” Housed in the Hôtel Lièvre de la Grange, an 18th-century historical monument, the center is just steps away from iconic landmarks like Hôtel de Ville, the Seine River, Centre Pompidou, and Notre Dame Cathedral. Accreditation
Courses taught at the CEA CAPA Paris Center have been designed in conjunction with, and approved by, the University of New Haven (UNH). In addition, faculty appointments have been approved by UNH. After the successful completion of a session at the CEA CAPA Paris Center, you will receive credit for your work from UNH. Located in Connecticut, the University of New Haven is a student-focused, comprehensive university that’s fully accredited by the New England Commission of Higher Education (NECHE). The agreement between CEA CAPA and UNH follows the highest standards of good practice in education abroad and satisfies the rigorous requirements of the University's institutional accreditor, making credits earned at the CEA CAPA Paris Center easily transferable to US-accredited institutions. Grading
Professors at the CEA CAPA Paris Center will carefully evaluate your work and progress throughout their academic session. When calculating the final grade, instructors consider written and oral exercises, homework assignments, attendance, classroom participation, and exam performance.

Classroom and Information
- Classes are taught by faculty selected by CEA CAPA and approved by UNH.
- Periodic homework assignments and final examinations will be administered.
- Class attendance is mandatory and monitored by each professor. You may access your grades and attendance on their CEA CAPA Student Portal.
- Class size is limited to 30, allowing for personalized attention.
- Language classes are designed to be taken with other CEA CAPA students of equivalent language levels.
- CEA CAPA Paris Center routinely welcomes local French students to enroll in English-language elective courses, thereby adding an international dimension.

You'll enroll in 1 NOVANCIA business course, 1 CEA language course, 1-2 CEA business courses, and 1-2 CEA elective courses. NOVANCIA business courses meet for 15-45 contact hours/1-3 credits. CEA language, business, and electives courses meet for 45 contact hours/3 credits.
You may earn 12-18 credits (up to 270 contact hours) over the semester. If you choose the Early Start option, you may earn 15-21 credits (up to 315 contact hours).
NOVANCIA business courses typically meet once per week on the school's Montparnasse campus. CEA courses meet 1-3 times per week; classes typically meet Monday-Thursday, but active learning components required by your courses may be scheduled on Fridays.
Prior to departure, you will select your preferred courses and take a French language placement exam. You'll also take an oral placement exam after you arrive in Paris. You will be enrolled into courses based on their availability and the result of your placement exam. It is in your best interest to have multiple alternative courses approved by your home university prior to your departure due to course availabilities. Studios are located in student residences that house approximately 200-300 local and international students in single or shared studios. The Studio residences are a typical housing solution for local students, both providing the privacy of an apartment
(with kitchenettes and bathrooms in-suite) and the environment of student living. The Studio residences are located in a several different neighborhoods across the city, including the 20th arrondissement, the 13th, 15th, and 17th, as well as in nearby St Mandé, Montreuil, Levallois, and Ivry. Living in a studio in Paris will provide you with a true sense of French student life, will allow you to cook your own meals at home, and meet up with other residents in your building.
