DESCRIPTION
In an age when the means of media and communication have multiplied with increasing speed, there is a strong need to reflect on how information processing has been modified as a result of these changes. This course will therefore focus on a number of questions: what is the influence of the media on each of us, on politics, on culture or the international scene? What is wrong with information, considering that the media have never been as numerous? Is our information culture threatened by the media that are subjected to the dictates of a market economy?
