The course introduces the interactions of the components of « the Earth System »: the cosmosphere, the lithosphere, the hydrosphere, the atmosphere, the biosphere and the anthroposphere. It is now possible to quantify these very complex interactions and develop a holistic view of the earth: Earth System Science. This course will present the basics of environmental science.
