DESCRIPTION
The focus of intermediate level courses is to gain a deeper understanding of Chinese language and culture and improve their ability to communicate in Chinese. Students will be actively engaged in improving their listening, speaking, reading and writing skills. At the conclusion of the course students will be able to recognize and produce approximately 3,500 vocabulary, 1,500 everyday expressions and grammar that will form a basis for advanced-level study.
